Imagine – this could become a community park, nature/education lab and wildlife sanctuary.

Lockeland Springs is the site of Antontin’s Eagle project and has the potential to have opportunity for many more of our scouts to have projects. This grant would be great for the community as well.

Many segments of the spring wall are sectioned off due to crumbling and disrepair.

Formerly slated for development, the land is now owned by the Metro Nashville Parks Department.

Giant tool sale!

From the estate of J. Wayne Biggers of East Nashville.
A huge selection of hand and power tools, including table saws, miter saws, planers, drills, drill press, air tools — a lifetime collection of construction equipment must go! Very reasonable prices (a portion of the proceeds will benefit Mr. Biggers’ adopted Boy Scout Troop 3). Sale will be held in the parking lot behind East End United Methodist Church, 1212 Holly Street in East Nashville, from 7am to 1pm this Saturday, October 8. Cash, credit and/or debit cards only.
